An essay produced for the reader: Aesthetics of New AI. The text develops an account of adversarial machine learning practice through the art-historical figure of anamorphosis, tracing a structural homology between the baroque anamorphic distortions of early-modern perspectival geometry and the contemporary adversary's manipulation of a learning model's mathematical operations to expose the assumptions constitutive of its classifications.
